I've been reading about vacuum hold downs instead of using clamps or screws and I've decided to build one. I just purchased a 7CFM vacuum pump and I have a 7 gallon air tank I'm going to use as a reserve. I dont want the pump to run continuously if I can help it so I want to put a pressure switch on it so it will turn off when it has above a certain pressure.
This is where Im running into trouble trying to figure out what switch to get...
Vacuum switches seem to be rated in a different way other than CFM..
So, my question is, if I want to turn the pump off at a given pressure what switch should I use? I feel completely lost at this point... :drowning:
