Hello, I was watching the videos at TAIG CNC about adjusting the taig mill and it was mentioned using automatic transmission fluid on the slides.
My question is if I use the transmission fluid would I use it everytime I oiled my machine instead of motor oil or way oil? Also, would I use it on the lead screws and nuts?
Question 2, Does anyone else have this problem with the tail mill head. If I have to stop a job at the end of the work day and restart it the next day, the Z 0 seams to be a few thousands lower then it should be. Therefore the endmill will cut a little deeper and I will have a step in my part. Is there anyway of correcting this?
Thanks,
Eric
