Well I finally made the jump and purchased an LC1290 from WK Laser.
The purchase was made on the 29th of Oct. I decided to pay for the Machine in full. To be honest I did hesitate and made a few laps around the bank. Never have I made such a large purchase with a company based in a different country via wire transfer.
It was a situation that required trust.
The next morning after the purchase was the worse. I woke up with a little panic, stress and anxiety. Have I made the right choice I asked? Will I receive the machine was the other question I asked myself. I am an experienced veteran with ocd, anxiety and stress and have an active mind so the waiting game does play with your head a bit. Just remember if you are about to go through the purchasing process if I can wait and have patience you can as well.
My journey started back on the 20th of Oct 2012. WK Laser was the only company I found very easy to find a way of communicating with. I did visit one other company and the website was blocked by my Malwarebytes software.
How lucky was I? A lady by the name of Lucy Lee answered my email and how brilliant is this woman? Ask a question and I would get a reply very quickly and in fact Lucy was very patient. I even got fast replies once I made the purchase. With over 30 emails sent asking all sort of questions the purchase was made.
Today my laser cutter is boarding a ship headed to Melbourne which will be a 3 week wait. I purchased the Laser Cutter with spare parts and a CW-5000 water cooler.
The hardest part of this is ordering the laser cutter and waiting until the laser cutter is built. Its a period of time the waiting process can play with your head. I am going to track my shipment via Marine Traffic. I also decided to have a freight forwarder manage the shipment of my laser cutter from China to Melbourne just to simplify a few things.
I will keep you guys posted with the arrival, unpacking and using the machine for the first time including feedback.
Lucy and WK Laser thank you for your help, patience and assistance. I do hope this has all been worth while.
Thank You
Joe
