Hi all,
I need your help if it's possible.
For days now i am trying to calibrate my cnc's movement according the following specs
Stepper motor: 200steps/rev
Card DipSwitch :
CurrentSettings:75% Decay:50% MicrostepSettings:1/2
LeadScew: 1,5 mm
lead_screw.jpg
I have done 200*2=400/1,5=266,66666. Those should be steps per rev i iam right, so I have inserted this number to motor tunning, after "Set steps/rev" in the settings of Mach3,automatically have changed this number to the prober one according to machine, but, when i inserted 266.6666, i said to machine move 200mm it went 198.5, after the changing, with the "correct" number moves 201,5. Both cases 1,5mm less/more accordingly, same as the distance of my leadscrew. It seems that i need 1 full revolution for case A, and -1 full revolution for case B.
What i am doing wrong, please advice.
Thanks in advance
