Hey everyone,
this is my first time posting on here. I just began working in the industry-just kind of assisting around a great shop (logging tool and operations sheets, sketching prints in solidworks) and really love it. Of course I'm in awe of the people who get to operate, set-up and program our cnc's on the shop floor. We have a couple of Mori Seiki nl2000's and I'm in love with them but want to train on them. At this time I'm learning what I can from speaking with our foreman but it's not the appropriate time to ask to be trained. I saw that on the Mori Seiki website they offer online courses in how to operate some of their machines. I'm wondering if they're worth it-obviously probably not as good as on site but is it worth it as a primer? If anyone has any info it'd be a huge help. Thanks!
