Need Help! Rapids through Part

Hey There,

I am currently doing a Thesis on the CNC Lathe and creating craft through the process. One job I want to try is performing a job and then purposely make a rapid go back through a part with a couple splines in it.

I was wondering if you guys had any tips or tricks on making the job do this through either the g-code or CAMWorks?

Have done this by accident once and it came out with beautiful facets like I haven't seen before.
