I need to determine how to connect the STEP and DIR signals from KFlop JP4/JP6 (muxed because I am using KAnalog) to Yaskawa SGDH servo drives.
Yaskawa Docs:
Reference by Pulse Input
Positioning is controlled by entering a reference pulse for a move.

Any of the following forms can be used for the position reference:
Line-driver output
+12V open-collector output
+5V open-collector output
From the KFlop docs
Configuring Step and Direction Outputs
I see that setting the Output Chan 0 is Open Collector type output and it should work best for driving opto inputs. But, since I am using KAnalog, I also read that Output Chan 0 and 2 cannot be used for Open Collector output because they have the 150 ohm pull down resistors. I plan on using the JP5 from KAnalog for 4 differential encoder index pulses.
What should I do?
Has anyone used KFlop w/KAnalog to drive Yaskawa drives in position mode?
Thanks
