Am trying something a bit unusual - might be attacking this the wrong way, but it's almost working...
Am trying to persuade mastercam to post a series of sliced toolpaths - I'm trying to slice up the job for milling into sheet foam then reassemble the part after milling by stacking these slices.
I've created a WCS with Z0 at the top of each "slice", created a Hybrid toolpath for each and used the Z depth cut parameter to limit the min and max depths - effectively cutting the slice as required.
The only issue is the rapid passes between segments are being calculated to clear the geometry in the slice above - very handy if the part was truly being cut as one, but I need to somehow force these to run lower (as they will exceed the Z on this particular machine) - is it possible, or am I going about this in the wrong way?

Thanks
