A few years ago I started to convert the BP series 1, boss 6 to computer control. I removed all of the cabinets, and cleaned up the machine. It sat there for almost 2 years. Now I have some time and just finished hooking up the hillbilly BOB, new stepper drives, and when I went to wire up the Z axis drive, it was very rusty and upon further inspection was ceased up. Do you have any advice on changing this stepper motor out to something more modern, or find a used motor to put back in it's place? I'd like to get it going soon..Anyone have a spare Z axis stepper motor I could buy that is ok?
