Greetings, I hope I post this in the proper location. This msg.brd is pretty big. I've worked on lathes and CNC bridgeports years ago; learned on the job and worked both machines for a good years time. So I am no expert by any means, always looking at learning a new tools. And now I find the need to rekindle those skills. What I am interested in to get me started is the HF 7 x 10 lathe. I found this site while watching videos on YouTube and came into a video on converting the 7x10 to a CNC lathe. Now sure where those plans/BOM might be on this site <hint hint>. I am looking at turning down/chamfer/threading internal/external material from wood/delrin to stainless steel. The 7 x 10 seems to be able to handle the task and with the 20% off coupon and in stock at my local HF...looking better. I am VERY interested in the project to convert this to a CNC.
