Hope I'm in the right place.
I want to inkjet print a linear scale on decal material to apply on a cylinder; degree marks. My problem is how to draw it and what program to use. I can array lines but that can lead to small errors due to inaccurate distance unless I describe the distance to a high number of decimal places. I'm thinking that I need to create a rectangle that measures the total circumference of the cylinder and subdivide it, placing a line at each division. But what program will do that? Or is there another way, a better way.
I have several CAD programs, a couple drawing programs, Artcam, etc.
If I'm not at the correct forum, where should I go?
Thanks,
Ozzie
