Just had the machine moved and was afraid some chips might have shaken loose or otherwise got into the electrics.
So I pulled all the cards then applied compressed air as needed and got the cabinet all cleaned out. - Well before I got the cards back into the machine I got some "help" that moved the cards closer to the machine. I had had the cards laid out in order - now they were stacked with ESD bags between them, and definitely not in any order.
The sticker in the cabinet shows where everything but the Dual Axis boards go - actually it shows where they go too - but not how to identify the dual axis X/Y board vrs the Dual axis Z and spindle board.
This is a KM3P with a MAX32 cardrack (door has stickers for the MAX II and MAX32.)
I'm going to need more help - as my goal is to convert this machine to single phase power.
I have 3 VFD's, a Teco FM50 with breaking resistor for the spindle. Then I have 2 small Seimens VFD's for the coolant pump and speed control motor.
But now I'm thinking I may need a new transformer to step down the 240VAC for the Hurco MAX400 servo drives.
Anyway, first things first - how can I identify a dual axis boards application. I want those cards safely back in the chassis and the door locked before I get anymore "help".
