Need Help! Professional Enclosure

I am attempting to put together a "professional" enclosure with all the fancy buttons and switches. I have come across some nice setups but I haven't seen much explanation as to how it should be wired up or reasons for why components are used.

I would like to have a key switch to enable the box to run, a main disconnect switch to cut off the power, and a couple illuminated push button switches in addition to the emergency stop.

I might go with a pendant in the future so how crazy do you guys think I should get with this? Would you recommend that I add anything else?

I am hoping that I can end up with something I can be proud of and then hopefully share it with everyone so that other people can do the same thing.
