Hi,
I've had my cnc'd X3 for a few years now, and have never really accomplished much with it. I sorta switched gears to a plasma table and it gets most of my attention now. I've become a little better with CAD/CAM over the years, and back in December I drew up a simple open end wrench, which I finally cut out a few days ago. It went so well, I grabbed a pair of channel locks and started drawing. A few hours later I had a functional- albeit a bit rough, pair of "Plinker Locks" (a play on my small biz name) made out of 304 SS.
After that I just had to try a tiny pair! I did the small ones- 1.8" long, out of aluminum. I'd like a SS set, but I feared the .0625 endmill might not make it without spot on speed/feed settings.
