Some of the boys at work here in the bluegrass are thinkin about takin a company paid Solidworks certification in 24 weeks???? course at one of the For Profit private schools in the area (school seems to be on the up and up and reputable) Bossman got email from school and said they told him students enrolled in class can access solidworks on the internet at home thru a school or Solidworks site (with no student version) and do home work, practice, etc I would like to know if 1)they would need the system requirements- (graphics card etc) on their home computer and how that access might work 2) Certified?????Zero to Hero and a guru in 6 mos or just a piece of paper/toiletpaper 3) link to central kentucky solidworks forum.4) I personally am interested in learning the software thru an online class (think I just missed Deanza college online solidworks in California) Any other affordable alternatives? I see solidprofessor and caminstructor but these dont have the ability to purchase student version so I think these are geared to someone having access to student version or full blown version thanks for any advice
