Thank you all in advance. As my ID, I'm as green as it comes.
I have been toying with this Chinese 6060 CNC 3-Axial since day one 2 years ago. Supplied with Mach3.
Took me 6 months to get it running as it should(my very first CNC). Manufacturer provide hopeless support.
Came across discussions on Gecko drives & was very impressed. So I got three of them & a C25R3 from HomannDesign here in Australia.
My intention is to upgrade my existing M542 with Gecko G203V & hopefully will improve the performance. Have also install a Smooth-Stepper from warp9td & is still running.(with the Chinese BOB)
I have tried to simply replace the M542 with the G203v & that does not seem to work at all.
The original BOB has no name. simply listed as Mach3 control board v2.1
The first Bob stop working after 8 months & was replaced by same one I purchased from Aliexpress.
Reliability seems not included in the CNC I purchased.
Open for any suggestions on which BOB to acquire & any other bits needed to get it running smoothly.
My spindle is 2.2KW running off a FC300 VFD.
Life is good.
