I just ordered a Super PID speed control for my home brew router. Up to now I have been cutting plywood, plastics and PCBs using a PC 690 with Think & Tinker collets but now that I have some control over the 690 plan to start milling some 1/2" 6061 pieces that are to complex for my mill/drill.
I have some Onsrud 65-000 series O flutes that I have been using on the plastics but the Onsrud catalog recommends 52-000 series two flutes. It worries me however that while my machine is pretty rigid it is not a commercial table. Will the double flute be to aggressive?
I am looking for a 1/8", 1/4" and a 1/4" ball end for profiling.
