About the Opportunity
Sonic Drill Systems Inc (SDSI) is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist (day shift only) to join their team in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills for short runs of high precision components.
More specifically, you will:
The successful candidate will be a Journeyman CNC Machinist with a minimum of 3 years' experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
SDSI is seeking a hard-working individual with a positive attitude, good workmanship, a high attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills who is organized, punctual and safety conscious.
You will be familiar with basic G-code programming and have excellent computer skills. Experience with GibbsCAM would be beneficial however not required, and you will have experience with oilfield type threading.

- Complete setup sheets documenting work; and
- Perform occasional manual machining.
