G203v Hot Motor's when idle

I recently switched over to Gecko 203V drivers from some PMDX-150's. I am really pleased with the performance increase and when I am cutting, everything is great.

My issue is, when the motors are idle, they draw two amps each (three motors, six amps total) and get quite warm after a short time. This happens even with my PC turned off and the motors disconnected from the breakout board so it's not a mach3/PC/breakout board issue. The really odd thing is that when I am running at normal speeds, the current draw is only around 4 or 5 amps total. Sometimes spiking higher when I am moving multiple axis at once. I have 117.5K resistor to limit the current to 5 amps per motor. So when I am moving the motors, it behaves exactly like I think it should. Only when nothing is moving do things get really warm.
