xyz data not changing on the screen

I have a kitamura mycenter2 1981 w/ fanuc 6mb.

I'm having intermitent failiures were you can move manually any of three axis but the data on the POS screen does not change at all. Sometimes It will get fixed after turning the total system off. I try to shake and push all connectors but no luck

Any sugetions are gladdly accepted.
