Hi,
I have an old Toshiba 2065CDS that I'd like to use to generate stepper step / direction signals so I can semi-automate a manual mill. I'm envisioning using it as a precision power feed and to helping me with more complicated geometries like circles.
Everything I have that has a parallel port is so old that Mach3 or LinuxCNC won't run on them. What software works well with very old computers? Alternatively, could you easily accomplish what I want to do with a Raspberry Pi or Arduino?
