Looking for some info on a 40-60W laser, something in the same range as the FSL: New 40W CO2 Hobby Laser (5th gen: 20"x12"+Removable Floor) - Hobby CO2 Lasers - Lasers - Products Looking to cut mostly light ply and acrylic mostly 1/8" but possibly up to 1/4" plus soem raster engraving on same material.
I've been considering the 5th Gen FSL for a while but it seems to have it's own pros and cons and the shipping cost is still expensive to Canada. I've read both good and bad experience with FSL so hard to know if this is a good/best option. Seems you either or love them or hate them, but even those happy with the purchase seem to run into a lot of minor issues but perhaps for the price it is to be expected.
For the other Canadians that have bought a laser from FSL or elsewhere what do you recommend?
In terms of shipping, any issues with delivery/brokerage/duty?
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
