First, I am new to the forum and to CNC. I made a search for this but I did not find a streight answer to my problem, I found both answer that you could and couldn't use a PCMCIA card to control a CNC.
I want to run Mach3 on my laptop and I found a PCMCIA parallel device that I think should do the trick, but I can not be sure since I know so little of all of this. My driver is TB6560 in case it makes a difference.
This is the card I found:
1 Port Parallel 34mm ExpressCard Oxford PLX Chipset | eBay
Would this work? If not I would need to buy a pc to control the CNC machine, and I am trying to avoid it.
Thanks in advance, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
