I wanted to ask what do you think is a proper profit margin on lets say 14,000 units with production cost of about $30 each?
My work (units to be priced) is purely reverse engineering and mold design minus tool path generation which is done by the client.
This is a one time job. I don't imagine I'll get anything of the kind for the next 10 years, although nobody can possibly know.
One detail to factor in, this is my lifetime opportunity to jump start and grow my almost dying business. But I don't want to get greedy and lose the job either.
