I started building 3 axis CNC router.
I bought controller, nema 23 motors and PS from ebay (for 4 axis CNC)
Got electronics to work, but it was big PIA and I had to buy a "new" computer with XP 32 bit OS (Mach 3)
Then I bought linear shaft rails, with shaft support, linear bearings with housing, trapezoidal spindles with nuts, couplings and more, also from ebay. (should be delivered by tuesday)
Linear shaft rails length is 1000x800x500mm
I'm an architect, so I designed the CNC in software that I use every day, Archicad.
You can't see that trapezoidal spindles, working table and several other things are missing in my design, but you get the general idea.
As this is my first build, I hope you can give me some ideas, guidelines an tell me if I made a bad mistake or more of them.
Please, comment on the design.
