Need Help! Wiring TS27R into 1990 VMC40

Hello all, Im a new owner of a older Fadal, a '90 VMC40, I'm trying to wire in a Renishaw TS27R tool probe and am looking for some advice/help. We have a Fadal 60/30 at work and the probe is wired directly into the J12 connector just like in the manual. I did this with my machine and when i run the probe test i get a FAILURE result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
