Need Help! Linistepper usage

Hi Experts,

I'm planning build a CNC for pcb milling. I plan to use a Linistepper driver. i have a few questions regarding this. The motor i'm using is 6 wire rate at 2A (i'm assuming this is per phase , correct ?)

The specs the manufacturer has given are:
Rated current: 2A
Phase resistance: 1.8 Ohm
Phase inductance: 2.5mH
Holding torque: 125 Oz-In

I'm hoping this is sufficient for the job i'm doing ??

Linistepper document says that it can be pushed to 2A per phase. Hence i;m planning to push it to 2A by adding a large heat sing with fan. Is that sufficient ?
I'm planning to run the motor on a SMPS (from PC) which is rated at supply 12V at 25A? can some one tell me if its fine? if not i can purchase a 18V , 10 A ?

I also have doubt as to how to connect the power supply. Should i connect the power supply to the driver board or the break out board or the motor? can someone explain ? The linistepper and the motor both require different power supply ? (Linistepper is rated at 5V ) so i'm confused as hell.

Please let me know
