I am looking for a complete kit including motors, electronics and cabling (with connectors installed - no soldering plz), to drive my hobbyist CNC router that I have built. I am a 50 year old newbie. This is my first CNC router, so I need some advice on what & where to purchase. I don't need any hardware at this point (lead screws, bearings etc) as far as the router is concerned. My router is built using some heavy duty drawer slides that bearings in them. I will post a pic if needed.
Also, I bought a copy of Mach3, but now I am afraid that the learning curve on that software may be too steep. My CNCR will be used mainly for wood sign making & perhaps I will try my hand at vinyl cutting some stencils for airbrushing as well. So I am also looking for advice regarding some signmaking software or software that can import a jpg art line drawing and cut vinyl to match.
Thanks - Dave (USN Retired 2007)
