Hi everyone,
I have questions regarding the collision.
1) - An operator at the machine crashed after a bad manipulation: He stopped the program to a position behind the part and when to restart the tool was dark in the room at high speed. could CAS (Collision Avoidance System) avoid it?
- To put CAS fully, should I insert parts stl file (so with all the details) or just a simple volume? More precisely, I would like to know if the machine can avoid this crash (in my first point) by simply indicating the volume of the workpiece in the CAS.
2) Can we give conditions on the okuma? For example I wish he never goes fast speed on a part.
3) Are we forced to define insert when we use stl file for a tool ? Can we just add tool directly with an insert ?
Thank to all in advance
It will help me a lot.
