Not sure what the right way to do this is, but when making a pocket, the first cut "obviously" must be full width of the tool, regardless of the programmed stepover. However, it seems BobCAD isn't "aware" of that fact, and plows full width at the same speeds and feeds as the stepover width. What should I be doing to keep that from happening? It would be great if BBCD would adjust the DOC and step down until it can do the WOC specified in the stepover - but I don't see where that would be specified. Ramping in to the material helps for the first few inches, but not the entire circumference of any decent pocket...
