Recently, we've purchased brand new HAAS VF3ss VMC.
Machine was fully paid for in March 2013 and was delivered in June 2013. No problems there.
Upon the installation and first service, I noticed the machine was actually manufactured in Oct. 2013.
Since, the company that I bought it from, in this case HAAS Automation Europe, had exercised an overall price increase of 5% in January 2013, it meant I've paid a new higher price for an old stock.
If the HAAS A.E. did not put the prices up, I would not have a problem with the old stock; it is a machine tool after all and not a car.
But delivering an old stock with an increased price did leave a taste of a "Double-Ticketing" in my mouth.:(
Did anyone had a similar experience?
