My name is Stojan. I am young cnc programmer from Serbia.
I am about to start designing my own machine. Thinking about 3+1 axis milling machine for non-ferrous metals.
I would like to make maximum X1000mm, Y600mm, Z350mm with some 2.2 or 3kW Chinese water cooled spindle.
Machine would be made mostly from steel... very robust, with linear rails 20mm width.
I am employed in some small metal working company, so I could use Waterjet, CNC mill, lathes... grinding machines.. etc...
What do you think about using some nema 34 about 1200oz.... on 3 axis? I guess, Ill use 5mm pitch ball screws.
