I'm Dave, I'm a wood artist/ woodcrafter, whose hands have been nerve damaged due to 15 years of running angle grinders and orbital sanders for many hours a day. I still have ideas in my head and want to keep carving up wood so I'm close to buying a CNC...but so many to choose from. I've been looking at the Legasy Arty and the Blurry Ironman XE.....there are pros and cons of either.....i want a 4th axis to make canes and you can see my web site to see other things I hope to make davewitkus.com If you look at my sculptures, you will see i need a good software...and i'm not a genius when it comes to computers. If you look at my "functional" items on my website, i'm hoping to continue those w a CNC.

My budget is at 14 to 15k or less. And I do want to run 100 of my tray/bowls at a time so I can't have a toy, but it will not run 8 hours a day, 5 days a week either.

So anyone can advise me, I welcome opinions.

Dave
