Hi,
I purchased an older Kitamura MyCenter 1 with Fanuc 10M. Upon first start, I got an over-travel switch alarm 11. The machine was in mid travel, so I checked the switch operations, and determined that the Y axis switch plunger was stuck. I dismantled and cleaned the switch, and the plunger moves freely now.
My problem is that I did not notice that the internal microswitches are adjustable with a spring. There position is now different which will move the machine zero, and over-travel positions. I have a maintenance manual that says to set the limit switches according to the maintenance manual, but does not cover it anywhere.
Does someone have this procedure?
How sensitive are these machines to limit switch position? On the Bridgeport machine I used to have if you didn't get the switch right on, it would over-travel limit at one end or the other.
Thanks
