Newbie Stepper motor advice

I am at the early stages of planning to make a CNC machine probably using something like a Dremel tool. It would be used to engrave and light wood milling etc.*
The size of the machine would probably be about 18 inch to 24 inch square. I would like some advice on the type of stepper motors to buy for this project. I am planning to use a Stepper Bee+ control board by a company called PC Control Ltd. in the UK (I live in the UK ). They offer stepper motors which have a holding torque of 50Ncm (5kgcm) ,12v rated voltage, step angle 1.8 degrees, with dimensions of 57x57x51 mm etc. my question is would these motors be too large/small/just right for the task.*
Looking on eBay there are motors with a smaller holding torque much cheaper than those from PC Control would these be adequate?
I am a new by to CNC so all advice would be welcome

Brian
