I'm manufacturing pedals for friends and what not and so far I've brought my production times down drastically...except for one..finishing.
I spend on average 10-15 minutes per pedal hand sanding all the nicks and scratches out, then use maroon scotch-brite for that final brushed look.
This is taking way too long and i know there has to be another alternative. I've tried a scotch-brite 6" wheel but it was only 3/4" thick and left weird marks down the pedals. I've seen attachments for drills and air grinders that seem to have a 2-4" dia cylinder and use whatever kind of abrasive to get the brushed look. Where could I look? I've been all over MSC Direct and can't find anything.
part is 2.25" wide and 7.00" long, I like the brush to go the length of the part
