Hi there,
Sorry if this is covered, I thought it would be, but searching for 'calibrate' came back with no results!?
I've got a bit of an issue with my 1212/120 machine. It's not totally accurate at the moment. I have crashed it a couple of times, once when the pendant was only half plugged in by accident (the connector is dire) and I could send messages to the machine but it wouldnt stop at Z top or read the auto Z sensor :/
Anyway, I just did a 2D profile in XY and it was .4mm out of whack. Is there a way to calibrate the machine without bricking it? I have the pendant controller.
I also want to re-surface the bed because a F***ing tradie stood in the middle of it to run some lines.:tired: I think it has a .5mm dip in it.
Do I just make a 1200x1200 pocket at .5 and run the 'bottom cleaning' bit on it? that seems to be the method.
Anyways, sorry if this covered!
Steve
