I was told that I only needed a two hose machine torch to set up oxy fuel on my cnc plasma table. So I got a used Victor MT200C and now I'm starting to question if this was the right decision.
I want to set up a simple manual peirce system, where I allow motion to the peirce point, Mach3 pauses, I wait for the preheat time and then manually turn a valve for the cut oxygen and then hit run and it drops to cut height. Real simple as I wont be doing alot of oxyfuel cutting, mostly plasma.
So can I do this with a two hose torch? I see my torch has some kind of valve on the side in addition to the valve on each line, but I can't find out any info on what this does. Is it a on off valve for the cut oxygen?
Can I just put two regulators on the oxygen line, one for preheat and then another for cutting that can be controlled with a valve.
Or is it best just to sell this and get a three hose?
Any help would be apprecited.
