I have just cut my first sheet pf SS .105" thick on the plasma.
I like the looks of it. The edges clean up nicely with a grinder or belt sander.
This is mill finish material.
What do you guys use to polish it up?
I think it may even be a finished product with just cleaning it, but curious as to what quick and easy method most use.
I normally cut my parts out of CRS and then powder coat them so they won't rust. That equals a lot of extra cost mainly due to the extra finishing steps.
I'd like these parts to look good, but they are splitters on a table saw, so will see wear immediately on usage. I think the SS will hold up better as well.
Anyhow, any thoughts. Thanks.
