For the ABSOLUTE WORST ENDMILLS IN THE WORLD! I have them!
Today I was making some prototype parts for my ATC, and did something stupid, and damaged one of my 1/2" endmills. Since I was making a new part fo the first time, and I didn't care about it being pretty, I decided to use one of the lousy Interstate endmills, of which I (unfortunately) have several. Incredibly, on a very *easy* cut, as soon as it started cutting, the thing squealed like a stuck pig - it sounded HORRIBLE! Then after only cutting less than an inch, the spindle shut down! I thought: "This must have been an anomoly. No endmill could be THAT bad!". So, i re-zeroed everything, and tried again, with the exact same result! I swapped out the Interstate for a Hertel, and finished the part with no problems..
Never, never, never, EVER buy or use Interstate cutting tools! They are absolute garbage!

Ray L.
