Need Help! noise on power up on a J325?

So I finally was able to get the transformer up and humming so I can get some proper power to the 325 I got a couple weeks ago. I hooked up air then flipped the breaker on the side of the box housing the VFD. Once the breaker was flipped, noises started to happen. It sounded a lot like the sharpe manual mill I bought that a previous owner left the key off the shaft of the motor so that it just jangled around inside the pulley. It sounded like a motor of some sort was spinning and grinding on something somewhere unseen in the "column" or ram or something. Coolant was set to off, control was set to off (i think). Seemed like it had air although there was a bit of a leak that needs to be addressed. The mill came with the manual for the dynapath 20m control and a manual of all the programs but unfortunately I don't have a manual for the whole mill or any electrical diagrams. Any help here would be much appreciated. I really want to get this thing to where I can start testing it for function. Right now I am a little sketched out with the noises. I had to get to a PT appointment so I wasn't able to dig in any further. Hopefully I can get some time in there tomorrow.
