Newbie DXF CAM problem (X4)

Hi,
I created a 3D model in blender and then exported it as a DXF file. I want to machine the upper part of the model, and every time I try to make a toolpath, I get nothing - the message I get is "Surface operation does not contain any drive surfaces."

Any ideas?
