Hi all-
I currently have a 20 HP American Rotary HD phase converter. It works great, and I have not had any problems with it.
The problem is that I purchased a large hydraulic Iron Worker. The Iron worker's manual says it is a 12 KW machine, and my phase converter is a 14.9 KW phase converter.
When I try to turn the hydraulic pump on, the control power shuts off. I am assuming it is from a voltage drop. The Iron worker was running when I bought it.
What are my options? Buying/ building a larger phase converter, adding to mine, or something else?
What are any pro's/ con's?
thanks
Steve
