Can some one help me understand tool paths in 4 axis I have wasted days trying to get even 1 tool path to work 5 axis is easy with the drive surfaces but I need to be able do 4 axis as that is what my mill will be set up as first.
I am trying to cut a simple 2 sided part with a closed region curve to constrain the cut to only the area needed. I either get a rotary cut all the way around or the cutter cuts right through the model also the tool pathing is wider near the edges than in the center of the part.
