Newbie Help!!! I'm New!!! Homing/Limits Problem!!!

Hi guys: I'm extremely new at all, I bought a chinese CNC 3040T-DJ to cut aluminum 0.032" (very thin) to make boxes. Im running Mach3. I was able to load the cad drawing from CamBam, but when the z axis should go down and cut, does the opposite and it goes down on the rapid moment and then goes up again. I'm pretty sure is a homing/limit problem, so this is the setup that I have:

Machine Specs: X,Y,Z Working Area: 390x280x55mm, (See Pics) Also Attached the settings that I currently have)

so on Motor Home/Soft Limits I put X & Y Soft Max to 390.00 & 280.00 and Soft Min to 0.
Soft Max Z =0 and Min to (-55.00) [I have Home Neg uncheck for all of then and Auto Zero Check for all of the axis. ( I tried checking the Home Neg on the Z axis too)

So what I do is jog the X & Y axis all the way to left corner of the machine and Z to the top and Home Ref ( all to zeros) then I jog to the middle of the table and lower Z to the top of the material then I zeroed all the DRO and Regen.Toolpath (I can see the drawing perfectly position on the table and is inside the table's limits) but when I hit Cycle Start the z goes down to the point that is has to start cutting and then goes up and "cuts" in the air and then goes down again on the rapid fired(I think is called) cutting thru the material and when it gets to the point to make the cut goes up again!!!!
I read the manual and been looking on Post but I got stuck!!! Please any help will be appreciated!!! Thanks in advanced
