anybody else noticed, that the advanced rough option, in pocketing wizard, when used in multiple depths of cut to get to a final depth, will rapid all the way to the last milled height between cuts? meaning, if you go 1 inch, with 4 passes of .25 deep, after it cuts the first .25 deep, it wil retract, rapid to the start point, and rapid z to -.25. huh?? has anyone ever seen a feature that rapids in, and stops within a tenth? and when i told them of the issue, they said its meant to save time. really? how bout the fact that i keep chipping endmills cause im rapiding to the floor. if ya really want to save time, dont retract and go back to the start point, start ramping in from the wherever you finished the last cut.
