Can I use a Gecko Drive with a DRC 8 wire encoder

I just picked up a Haas 5C Indexer that has a DC Magmotor C33-I-075F Servo Drive and a DRC TK731 8 wire encoder. I'm wondering if I can get out the cheap way and wire this up with a Gecko Drive and use Mach 3 to control the indexer. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
