hi i am interested in using macro programming for a family of parts. i understand the concept of using macros. i used them and programmed on a phillips 3580 control many years ago.my questions are as follows:
do i have a separate small pgm for each part that states the macro values then jump to the main program? if so what command is used to tell the main program i m using a macro?
i think the small pgm would be the safer option as it would overwrite any other stored values is this correct?
what sequence of numbers are suitable to be used?
i have written the tool movements which are the same for all the parts . im just confused by the fanuc manual. im using fanuc 21 i control. i have read the whole parametric sticky on here i was just seeking the final piece of the jigsaw
