We (collegiate Formula SAE team) have an old Cincinnati milling machine with a DRO from Teledyne Gurley. Unfortunately, the X axis linear was recently damaged and TG doesn't make DROs anymore. Does anyone know a good source for a used one? The model is an 8787 Pathfinder and the one that came off is 27.5" long.
Alternatively, does anyone know if a different scale would connect to our DRO box? We just don't want to have to ditch the entire system for one linear scale.
