At our company, we have been Hypertherm's Pronest software for quite some time, but recently the question of using the software and plasma table to mark centers for some of our parts has risen. Previously after cutting the 1" or 2" parts, they are sent off to be drilled with 1/2 hole since the 1/2" holes required are not true enough for our purposes. Since many of our parts are custom to the job, setting up a jig for the hole centers is not economical.
My question then is, does Pronest or any of Hypertherm's machines posess the functionality of using the plasma cutting tips to etch, or punch or however, a hole marker exact enough to send to the drill press with having to refind the hole's center?
Thanks,
Lance
